A thick soundtrack from my headphones accompanies me. I walk up to my apartment, close the door, and drop my bag. I unpack.
The buds are brown-olive, with hints of earth and honey. Dense yet fluffy. They don't stick, but hold their shape. They smell... of Colombia. A tart aroma of boldness and spicy sweetness.
As if someone mixed coffee, dried citrus, raw wood, and a touch of gangster luxury.

When crushed, there's an explosion. The scent intensifies exponentially, as if opening a vacuum safe. Memories begin to tickle.

9:40 AM - First Strike
One joint — no more. Flame meets the plant. The first puf hit is soft, with a tart sweetness. The second is deeper.

By the third puf, I feel the world begin to move independently of me. I put the can away. I listen.

Light falls through the window like a projector. I'm inside a film. My brain is the director, sound engineer, and cameraman all rolled into one.

I go into the bathroom. The mirror isn't a mirror. It's a portal. I say, "Are you Pablo?" and wink to myself.

12:00 - Exit
The decline is soft, polite. The feeling doesn't let up, it just settles. Like a cloud that's decided to become a pillow.

I lie down, hug the air, and feel the lump disappear. But the mark remains. 🌿🔥

Well, after lighting a cigarette, I began to wait.
